Launching the 4th Korean Literature Review Writing Contest

The Literature Translation Institute, Ministry of Culture and Information of Korea, in collaboration with the Faculty of Oriental Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) organized the fourth Korean Literature Review Writing Contest.

* Contestants:

All students and graduate students studying at 03 schools (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Hanoi University).

* Contest format:

- Candidates write an essay about the short story collection "Kim Dong In Short Stories" by author Kim Dong In.

* Contest rules:

- Candidates register, receive the Contest Entry Form and documents from June 1, 2009 ~ June 25, 2009 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings (contact the Korean Room - 402 - 4th Floor - Building C).

- Only essay entries will be accepted.

- Contest entries must be typed on A4 paper, font size 14, single line, 4 - 6 pages (note that personal information should not be written on the entry).

- Each contestant can only submit one entry and it must not have been published in newspapers or reported in the media.

* Contest submission deadline:

- Time: from September 5, 2009 to September 15, 2009.

- Location: Korean Room - 402 - 4th Floor - Building C

* Award Ceremony(expected):

- Time: 8:00 a.m., October 9, 2009 (Thursday)

- Location: Hall, 8th Floor - Building E - University of Social Sciences and Humanities

* Prize:in cash or in kind of equivalent value

- 01 first prize: worth 9,000,000 VND

- 02 second prizes: each prize is worth 4,500,000 VND

- 03 third prizes: each prize is worth 1,700,000 VND

- 05 consolation prizes: each prize is worth 500,000 VND
