University of Social Sciences and Humanities establishes cooperative relationship with Thamasat University

On September 10, 2009, a delegation from Thamasat University (Thailand) led by Professor Surapon Nitikraipot - Rector - came to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to attend the signing ceremony of the first official cooperation document between the two universities.

On September 10, 2009, a delegation from Thamasat University (Thailand) led by Professor Surapon Nitikraipot - Rector - came to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to attend the signing ceremony of the first official cooperation document between the two universities.

Representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Gia Lam - Vice Rector of the University, along with leaders of the Faculty of History, Faculty of Linguistics, and Department of International Relations.

According to the signed framework agreement, the two sides will cooperate in common activities: exchange of scholars, managers, students, postgraduate students; exchange of scientific documents and publications; participate in research programs; organize seminars and scientific conferences; exchange training and management experiences. The signed document is valid for 5 years.

Thamasat is the 11th university in Thailand to become a partner of USSH.

Thamasat University was established in 1934. Training areas include: Social Sciences and Humanities (Law, Political Science, Economics, Social Management, Arts, Journalism and Communication, Commerce and Accounting, Sociology and Anthropology, Applied Arts, Languages...); Science and Technology (Construction, Engineering, Architecture...); Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Dentistry, Applied Health Sciences, Nursing, Public Health Care...). Thamasat trains 110 bachelor's majors, 91 master's majors and 28 doctoral majors.
