Received AED machine from Radian Qbio Company (Korea)

On August 1, 2019, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the ceremony to present the automated external defibrillator (AED) from Radian Qbio Company (Korea) took place.

At the ceremony, Radian Qbio Company donated the Heart Guardian 501 brand of automatic external defibrillator (AED) to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is a medical device that uses electricity to restore the heart of people with cardiovascular complications and loss of blood pumping function, in order to bring the heart back to normal. The location of the machine is in the first floor lobby of the University for convenience and easy recognition when needed.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Mr. Kim Beom Ki exchanged the minutes of cooperation to donate AED machines.

On behalf of the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector) expressed his honor that the University is one of the first educational institutions to receive AED equipment from Radian Qbio Company. The Rector considers this a practical action to ensure the health and safety of the University's staff and students. The Rector hopes that Radian Qbio Company will become a long-term partner of the University like Samsung and LG. At the same time, this event also contributes to the strong multi-disciplinary development of the Vietnam-Korea bilateral relationship.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh awarded a certificate to honor the charitable actions of Radian Qbio Company.

In response, Mr. Kim Beom Ki (Chairman of Radian Qbio Company) shared about the company's desire to carry out its mission of protecting and caring for human health. Established in October 2005, Radian Qbio specializes in manufacturing medical equipment, sensors, measuring devices, and biotechnology equipment. Up to now, Radian Qbio has been expanding its activities to countries and regions outside of Korea. In Vietnam, Radian Qbio hopes to contribute to the development of Vietnam and Korea through its cooperation projects. Regarding the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Kim Beom Ki expressed his willingness to welcome Korean Studies graduates from the University to intern and work at Radian Qbio.

After the ceremony, the school's staff, lecturers and students were directly instructed on how to use the AED machine by Radian Qbio Company staff.
