Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang (1950-2018)

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang passed away at 9:14 p.m. on April 1, 2018, at the Central Geriatric Hospital, at the age of 69, due to old age and poor health.

Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Hang was born in 1950 in Thai Binh. He has held the following positions:

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Former Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee.
Former Party Secretary, Principal of University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Former Head of Faculty of Management Science.
Former Deputy Head of History Department.

The visitation will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 (February 19, Mau Tuat year), at the Ministry of National Defense Funeral Home, No. 5, Tran Thanh Tong, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi. The memorial service and funeral will be held at 9:15 a.m., April 4, 2018. Cremation will be held at the Universe Crematorium, Van Dien, Thanh Tri, Hanoi. Burial will be held at 11:05 a.m., April 5, 2018 at the hometown cemetery, Thuong Hien Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh.
