Organizing summer political training classes for political science and political education lecturers at universities and colleges in the South

This activity is implemented according to Instruction No. 66-HD/BTGTU dated June 6, 2018 of the Central Propaganda Department on Summer Political Training 2018 for lecturers, teachers of the national education system and political activities at the beginning of the course for students; Decision No. 2788/QD-BGDDT dated August 2, 2018 of the Minister of Education and Training on assigning the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi to preside over and organize.

Attending the opening and closing ceremony of the 2018 summer political training course were Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Linh (former Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council), Master. Dao Mai Phuong (Deputy Head of the Department of Political Theory, Central Propaganda Department); Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Anh Tuan (Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training), Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities). More than 500 political theory lecturers from universities, academies, colleges and junior colleges with teacher training in the Southern region attended the course.

After 3 working days, the trainees listened to the speakers with political theory qualifications and experience in teaching and fostering political theory such as Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Linh (Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council), Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Dinh Thien (former Director of the Vietnam Institute of Economics, member of the Prime Minister's economic advisory group), Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Phong (HCM National Academy of Politics), Dr. Nguyen Thang (Director of the Center for Analysis and Forecasting, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences), Professor, Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) with 5 topics including the following contents:

- Basic and core theoretical issues in the Resolution of the 7th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee.

- Implement political theory subjects for specialized and non-specialized groups according to conclusion 94-KL/TW.

- Study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style in building the working style and manners of leaders, cadres and party members.

- Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the issues raised.

- Report on outstanding international, regional and domestic situations in the first 6 months of 2018.
