On January 22, 2014, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a ceremony to award Master's degrees in Tourism to 36 graduate students of the 2008-2011, 2009-2012, and 2010-2013 courses.
Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal of the School), Dr. Pham Thi Thu Hoa (Deputy Head of Postgraduate Training Department) and lecturers of the Faculty of Tourism Studies.
At the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa congratulated 36 new masters and congratulated the achievements in training of the Faculty of Tourism. The Vice Principal emphasized: The Faculty of Tourism is the first unit in the country to train masters in Tourism, contributing to providing society with a high-quality human resource in the field of Tourism. Faced with the increasing training demand, the Faculty of Tourism always has to perform well in training tasks, expand the scale, and ensure training quality.
It is known that the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been piloting training for Masters in Tourism since 2003. Up to now, the Faculty of Tourism Studies has had over 10 years of training Masters in Tourism Studies and has trained 14 courses, with over 200 students having been awarded degrees. The Faculty is currently organizing the implementation of a doctoral training project to meet the increasing social demand for quality human resources for the Tourism industry.
