On the afternoon of April 11, 2023, at the Hanoi National University Hoa Lac Urban Area, a tree planting activity organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Hanoi National University took place in response to the Government's program "Millions of trees - For a green Vietnam" and the program "For a greener Hoa Lac" launched by Hanoi National University in 2023.
The tree planting ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hieu - Vice President of VNU, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector and representatives of leaders of units under the Rectorate Block.
The tree planting ceremony was attended by representatives of the Board of Directors of VNU, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and representatives of leaders of units under the University's Headquarters.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hieu - Vice President of VNU highly appreciated the significance of the tree planting activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to contribute to the construction and development of a green and sustainable space of the Hoa Lac university urban area.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities shared the consensus of USSH in responding to the program "For a greener Hoa Lac" launched by VNU in 2023.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the school shared that the tree planting program "For a greener Hoa Lac" of VNU is a meaningful program, in which the University of Social Sciences and Humanities contributes a small part of its efforts to bring green space, an ideal place to study and work for students and staff of VNU in general, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular. That is also the goal and ideal for building and developing the VNU sustainably.
USSH staff and workers also expressed their joy, excitement, and pride in participating in planting trees to spread more green space in Hoa Lac. Each staff member eagerly looks forward to the next 5-10 years, when they will enjoy the clean, fresh space in Hoa Lac that they have built with their own hands.
