On the evening of May 25, 2011, at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural House, the final round of the “Golden Microphone 2011” MC contest was organized by the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.The contest attracted the attention of many teachers and students inside and outside the school. The jury of this year's final night included: Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Thai, Master Trinh Le Anh, MC Hoa Thanh Tung, Teacher Ta Bich Ngoc and Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan.

The 8 contestants who made it to the final night are all outstanding faces, with the talent and qualities to become professional MCs. With the rich and diverse topics and situations presented in the first two rounds of solo and duo hosting, the contestants demonstrated their own style and ability to collaborate with their MC partners. At the end of the solo and duo hosting rounds, the 4 best contestants were selected by the judges to move on to the third round with the theme "Reunion". This was a very interesting round. Because the 4 contestants combined into a group and brought the audience an impressive and emotional reunion between the MCs who had grown up from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the 2007 and 2011 Golden Micro MC generation. The performances of the contestants from Sol Club along with the enthusiastic cheers of the audience created a very exciting atmosphere for the final night.

After 3 rounds, convincing the judges and the audience with her confidence, ingenuity and sensitivity, Van Thi Quynh Nhung - K53 Social Work excellently won the Golden Microphone 2011 title. The remaining awards:

First held in 2007, “Golden Microphone” is a contest to find promising MCs, serving the work of the Union and Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The success of Golden Microphone 2011 shows that this is a useful playground for students to practice and gain experience on the path to realizing their dream of becoming an MC.
