On November 16, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - together with representatives of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, International Studies, and Psychology received and worked with representatives of Auckland University of Technology - New Zealand: Prof. Nigel Hemmington - Vice-Rector in charge of International Affairs and Head of the Faculty of Applied Humanities, Prof. Christopher Hawley - Director of the Office of Development and International Relations.
On November 16, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - together with representatives of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, International Studies, and Psychology received and worked with representatives of Auckland University of Technology - New Zealand: Prof. Nigel Hemmington - Vice-Rector in charge of International Affairs and Head of the Faculty of Applied Humanities, Prof. Christopher Hawley - Director of the Office of Development and International Relations.At the meeting, the leaders of the two schools discussed a number of areas of interest to both sides and wished to establish a cooperative relationship in the coming time: improving English proficiency for teaching staff; implementing joint research topics, organizing international seminars and workshops; supporting the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to build and develop the public policy sector; jointly building a bachelor's training program in International Tourism Management... The leaders of both sides expressed hope that in the near future, the two schools will have a signed document, realizing the cooperation programs. Auckland University of Technology - New Zealand is one of 8 universities in New Zealand and is also the fastest growing university. The total number of students studying at the school is about 25,000, including more than 4,000 international students. Auckland University of Technology's training programs are diverse, ranging from university foundation to doctorate. The school currently has 5 separate faculties: Faculty of Applied Humanities including the following majors: Languages, Tourism and Hotel Management, Education.
