Program "Media Festival to Promote Vietnamese Intangible Cultural Heritage"

The program is not only a meaningful spiritual gift for the teachers of the School on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, 2011, but also opens up a cultural and artistic space for thousands of social science and humanities students to enjoy and feel the value of the intangible cultural heritage of the Vietnamese people. The program brings together all types of art in the Northern Delta such as: Quan Ho Co - Lang Diem; Ca Tru Thai Ha; Quan Ho - Bac Ninh; Hat Xam; Chau Van... In particular, the program has the participation of leading Vietnamese artists: Hat Xam: Meritorious Artist Thanh Ngoan; Ca Tru: Thai Ha Group; Quan Ho: Meritorious Artist Thuy Huong, Thuy Cai; Chau Van: Meritorious Artist Thuy Mui; Cheo singing: Meritorious Artist Khac Tu... Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Thai - the program's art director - said: "Dedicating a lot of passion to this festival, I hope to bring students, teachers, and journalists a great opportunity to understand the value and role of intangible culture in preserving and promoting the quintessence of the nation in today's modern media environment. They must understand before they can love. And once they love, they will preserve, develop, and make the public understand and love the priceless values of intangible cultural heritage, the quintessence of the Vietnamese people. In short, authentic and genuine art is worthy of our communication". For the good purposes and meanings of the festival for students, teachers, media units and society, the University of Social Sciences & Humanities; Pico Supermarket System and many other organizations and individuals have participated in sponsoring and supporting the program to achieve the desired results.
