Traditional festivals of the two countries have similarities in terms of time of organization and content of activities, but also many differences in the level of importance and form of organization of those festivals.
Ancestor worship in Vietnam and China both developed under two major contexts, one is the Confucian culture of "filial piety" and the other is agricultural civilization. The main differences are in the form of worship and the time of festival organization.
Festivals to worship gods are held in almost all important traditional festivals of the two countries. There are some gods of the two countries that have the same origin and similar “functions”, but the legends and forms of rituals are different.
The image of the Holy Mother in the legends of the two countries is quite similar. This feature helps us to know the similar social phenomena of a certain period in the historical development of the two countries.

Traditional festivals of the two countries have similarities in terms of time of organization and content of activities, and differ in the level of importance and organization.
The ancestor worship beliefs of Vietnam and China both developed under two major contexts, one is the "Filial piety" culture of Confucianism, the other is agricultural, the difference mainly focuses on the form of worship and the time of the festival.
Most of the festivals are held in every important traditional festival of the two countries, there are some gods of the two countries that are from the same source and have similar "functions", but their legends and rituals are different.
The image of the Holy Mother in the legends of the two countries is close to each other, from this we can know the social phenomenon of a certain period in the development history.
