The thesis has solved three important research contents:
Firstly: The thesis has mentioned in a general way the issue of perception and Buddhist perception. At the same time, the thesis also introduces the new author Nhuy Nguyen, especially pointing out the concept of Buddhist thought in his works. Thereby, we can see the success and new contributions of Nhuy Nguyen in Buddhist literature in particular and Vietnamese literature in general.
Second: The thesis has studied and researched the Buddhist perspective in Nhuy Nguyen's prose from the perspectives of ideological content, philosophy of life, and culture, through specific analysis of some of the writer's outstanding works such as: short stories Drifting on the White Time Stream, Shadow of the Boat, essay House of Grass, etc. From there, we affirm that the Buddhist ideological values in Nhuy Nguyen's prose are profound and continuous.
Third: The thesis has focused on studying the typical and unique artistic characteristics of Nhuỵ Nguyên's prose pen in the methods of expression: Artistic space - time, artistic language, artistic tone. Thanks to the exploration and creativity in the art of composition, Nhuỵ Nguyên's prose works not only carry a strong Buddhist sensibility but also create a unique mark in the flow of modern Vietnamese literature.
In short, with this thesis we have studied, researched and analyzed the outstanding features of the content of Buddhist ideology and philosophy along with the unique artistic aspects in Nhuỵ Nguyên’s prose. His works have created a new literary world, both profound in ideological content and attractive in artistic expression. It can be affirmed that: “Nhụy Nguyên is a factor that has contributed to the renewal of an era of Vietnamese Buddhist literature”.
