The congress was attended by representatives of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, the Office of the Party Committee of the school, representatives of Party cells in the school; Party cell comrades and all Party members of the Party cell of the Faculty of Psychology.
Comrade Trinh Thi Linh - Secretary of the Psychology Department Party Cell, representing the Party Cell Committee, presented the Political Report of the Party Cell Committee for the term 2022-2025 and the Party Cell's leadership direction for the term 2025-2027.

The Party Cell of the Faculty of Psychology has a total of 23 party members, including 18 official party members, 05 probationary party members; 14 party members are cadres, 09 party members are doctoral students and students (as of February 2025). During the 2022 - 2025 term, the Party Cell has strengthened its leadership role in building the Faculty of Psychology into one of the prestigious training, research and application institutions of psychology in Vietnam; affirming its position domestically and regionally, contributing effectively to the implementation of the school's development orientation to become a research university. Promoting the improvement of training quality, innovation of teaching content and methods in the context of globalization and technological revolution; improving the quality of scientific research and publications domestically and internationally; enhancing the application of knowledge, skills, and scientific research results into social practice.
In addition, the Report also points out existing problems and lessons learned; and at the same time identifies directions, goals and tasks for the 2025-2027 term.
Comrade Nguyen Van Luot - Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell read the Party Cell's self-criticism report.
Comrade Tran Ha Thu - Chairman of the Trade Union presented a report summarizing opinions on the draft documents submitted to the Congress and documents of the School Party Congress.
The Congress listened to the presentation of the Party Committee's self-criticism; Report synthesizing opinions on the draft documents submitted to the Congress and documents of the School Party Congress for the term 2025 - 2030. Delegates attending the Congress discussed and contributed many opinions to the political reports; voted by secret ballot and reached high consensus in electing the Party Committee for the term 2025-2027; elected 08 official delegates, 02 alternate delegates to attend the School Party Congress and approved the Congress Resolution. Accordingly, the Psychology Department Party Committee for the term 2025-2027 includes the following comrades: Comrade Trinh Thi Linh holds the position of Party Cell Secretary, Comrade Nguyen Van Luot holds the position of Deputy Party Cell Secretary; Comrade Tran Ha Thu holds the position of Party Cell Committee member.
The Congress elected the Party Cell Party Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary by secret ballot.
The contents of the Congress received high consensus and agreement from the attending delegates.
The Party Committee of the Faculty of Psychology for the 2025-2027 term was introduced to the Congress
Speaking to congratulate the success of the Congress, Comrade Bui Thanh Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU emphasized that the Party Congress of the Faculty of Psychology demonstrated solidarity and high consensus within the Party Cell as well as among the staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty. The opinions exchanged and discussed at the Congress demonstrated the spirit of democracy, frankness and constructive contributions, towards the strong and sustainable development of the Faculty in the next period. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee highly appreciated the preparation work for the Congress which was carried out by the Party Cell in a strict manner, in accordance with regulations and the documents prepared by the Party Cell.
With a team of high-quality staff including 08 Associate Professors, 16 PhDs; the training programs from bachelor to master, PhD of the faculty are attracting great attention from society and learners, the Faculty of Psychology has affirmed its position as a leading unit in the training and research activities of the school. The development of the Faculty in recent years is a proud result of the spirit of solidarity, unanimity, and consensus of the collective Party Cell, leaders, staff, lecturers, and students in implementing key tasks, contributing to the overall development of the school.
Comrade Bui Thanh Nam - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, gave a speech at the Congress.
Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Bui Thanh Nam expressed his hope that this spirit will spread throughout the school, and the success of the Congress of the Psychology Faculty Party Cell will be a model congress, a model to be replicated in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.
In addition, comrade Bui Thanh Nam also emphasized that, based on its inherent strengths, the Faculty of Psychology continues to promote Party development work and professional activities such as: increasing international scientific publications, focusing on opening new majors, and internationalizing training programs to attract learners.
The Congress of the Psychology Faculty Party Cell was successfully organized, contributing to affirming the spirit of solidarity and high unanimity throughout the school, towards the Party Congress of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for the term 2025-2030.
