Accordingly, the Cultural Management major, with the name of the graduation degree being The Doctor of Philosophy in Cultural Management, has a training period of 3 years for those with a master's degree and 4 years for those with a university degree.
It is expected that in 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU will enroll PhD students in Cultural Management with a quota of 3-5 PhD students/year in the form of Admission through assessment of professional records according to VNU regulations.
The program aims to train PhDs in Cultural Management with high level of theory and practice, specializing in cultural studies and cultural management, contributing to providing high quality human resources for the country in the context of integration and globalization.
Graduates of the PhD program in Cultural Management are high-quality human resources with in-depth, advanced professional knowledge and interdisciplinary thinking, capable of analyzing, evaluating, and providing appropriate solutions to carry out research, administration, management, leadership, planning, and policy consulting issues related to culture and cultural management. Ability to creatively and effectively apply interdisciplinary and specialized knowledge and theories to detect and solve issues related to culture and cultural management; ability to connect relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals to implement projects and research programs related to culture and cultural management. In addition, PhDs in Cultural Management are capable of creating cultural issues that have an impact on the community and society, and promoting traditional cultural values in the context of cultural globalization.
