University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU

One VNU is a VNU - USSH student support management system designed to run on a mobile platform, suitable for popular operating systems such as IOS and Android.

On the morning of December 30, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the opening ceremony of a training course with the theme "Breakthrough with GEN AI in teaching and research". The course aims to equip lecturers with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply generative artificial intelligence (GEN AI) in the teaching and scientific research process.

SVVN - Le Thi Nhu Huong (born in 2004) is a third-year student majoring in Journalism, Institute of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). From a provincial girl with many ambitions, Nhu Huong boldly went to the capital to pursue her passion, overcoming many challenges to achieve outstanding academic achievements. Behind those successes are the constant love and encouragement from her hometown, family and loved ones, helping her to break through and develop her own talents.

After 2 weeks of experiencing learning activities, practical activities and exploring Vietnamese culture and landmarks with lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the students of the 2024 Training Course on Vietnamese Language Teaching Methods for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers were able to cultivate more love for their mother tongue, thereby spreading Vietnamese to countries around the world.

On December 27, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) made an important mark in digital teaching when it officially accepted and put into use the MOOCs electronic lecture with the Basic Informatics course. This is a strategic step to modernize education, enhance learning experiences and equip students with the necessary knowledge and technology skills in the digital age.

The international scientific conference “Research and teaching Vietnamese studies and Vietnamese language in a cross-cultural context” jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM on the morning of December 21, 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City attracted the participation of many prestigious domestic and international scientists.

From December 8 to 12, 2024, Vice President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, joined a working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Kim Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam, to visit and work in China. The purpose of the trip is to promote educational cooperation between the two ministries and promote cooperation between universities in the two countries.

This morning, December 21, 2024, 92 new Masters and 22 new PhDs from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) were honored to receive their graduation certificates.

On December 19, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in collaboration with the Oesol Foundation and SJ Tech Vietnam Company organized a scholarship award ceremony for 09 students majoring in Korean Studies.

On December 18, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) organized the "2024 Grassroots Outstanding Young Faces Commendation Ceremony" to commend, recognize and honor young cadres, students and trainees with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of studying, teaching, scientific research, administrative work and community service.

In 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) completed and exceeded its postgraduate enrollment target with 335 graduate students and 176 doctoral students in 36 master's majors and 31 doctoral majors.

This morning, December 13, 2024, 04 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi were honored to receive scholarships from the Asian Development Fund (ADF) (Korea).
