At the September school-wide meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - School Principal - listened to a report on the implementation of work in July and August and assigned key tasks for September 2010.According to the Principal's conclusion, most units have completed the work in July - August as planned. Regarding some key tasks in September 2010, units continued to synchronously deploy the tasks of the 2010 - 2011 school year, completing the key work plan for September 2010 on schedule, in which the Principal especially emphasized the following tasks:
Party work, organization, propaganda, unions
- Opening of the new school year; organizing political activities at the beginning of the school year.
- The Party Committee meeting approved the working program of the Executive Committee and developed a plan to implement the Resolution of the 26th Party Congress.
- Organizing staff conference for the 2010-2011 school year.
Training, student affairs, quality control and inspection
- Consider second choice; welcome students to school.
- Implement the first semester teaching plan.
- Promulgating and disseminating the Regulations on regular university training at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (amended and supplemented).
- Continue to summarize 4 years of credit-based training.
- Completed training project in Southeast Asian studies.
Scientific research and international cooperation
- Implementing the plan to organize the Student Science Conference for the 2010-2011 school year.
- Organizing the marking of exams, announcing exam scores, considering benchmark scores and reviewing postgraduate admissions for the second round of 2010.
- Building a "2+2" joint training project in Journalism - Communication and Commerce with Shanghai University (China) and Chungwon (Korea).
- Completed the “2+2” training project in Tourism & Hotel Management and Thai Studies with Bansomdeij Chaopraya Rajabat University (Thailand).
Administrative, management and financial work
- Finalize projects for renovation and repair of facilities during the summer.
- Finished repairing the facilities at B7bis building, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language.
- Prepare and hand over rooms for the Project of Investing in equipment for the Center for Journalism and Communication.
- Prepare budget for the fourth quarter of 2010.
In addition, the Principal requested units to immediately implement a number of tasks, specifically:
- Preparing to celebrate the school's 65th anniversary in mid-November 2010.
- The Personnel Department completed the staffing work in September 2010.
- The Planning and Finance Department works with units on the 2010 disbursement plan.
- Heads of units assign staff to check the teaching and learning situation at the beginning of the school year.
