“Web 2.0 application in information-library activities” is the topic of the training program jointly implemented by the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Information and Documentation and the Faculty of Information and Library Science, which was opened this morning, September 14, 2010.More than 40 trainees from 13 provinces participated in the training course, who are officers working in information and library work at the Departments of Science and Technology, library centers of provinces, cities and universities. During the 4-day training course, from September 14 to September 17, the trainees will discuss the main contents revolving around the following issues:
- Introduction to web 2.0 and web 2.0 applications
- 19 prominent issues of web 2.0
- Basics of “Information Literacy”
- method of disseminating information knowledge via web 2.0
- Librarian 2.0…
The training course is an opportunity for information and library staff to update their knowledge and skills in accessing web 2.0 technology, attracting readers' attention, helping them quickly access necessary information sources.
