Instructions for high school students to register in advance for some courses of the university training program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities

1. Scope of application
This regulation applies to high school students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and specialized high school students nationwide.
2. Conditions for pre-registration for some courses of the university training program
High school students of VNU and specialized high school students nationwide starting from semester 2 of grade 11 can register to study in advance some credits in the university training program of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) if they meet the following conditions:
- Have at least Excellent academic results in the previous school year and semester;
- Written consent from the Principal of the high school the student is attending and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
- In one semester, high school students can study a maximum of 3 credits in the university training program.
3. Procedure for students to register in advance for some courses of the university training program
Step 1:The Training Department (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) announces the List of courses for students to register.
Step 2:The High School announces the List of courses for students to choose and register. The High School Principal sends an official dispatch with a list of students who have registered for the courses in advance to the Training Department (University of Social Sciences and Humanities), the specific time is as follows:

Semester	Time
Semester 1	Before September 1st every year
Semester 2	Before January 15th every year
Summer semester	Before June 1st every year

Step 3:The Training Department transfers timetable information to students (so that students can register according to the assigned timetable).
Step 4:Students pay tuition at the Planning and Finance Department.
Step 5:The Training Department sends the list of students to training units for teaching implementation.
4. Recognition of learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be given a transcript of the course. Students will be considered for recognition of the courses in the university training program when they are admitted to the university training program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and other university training units at VNU.
5. Implementation organization
This instruction is effective from the date of signing. During the implementation, if any problems arise, the Heads of relevant units shall report to the School leaders (through the Training Department) for consideration and resolution.
