Work plan February 2010

Work plan for February 2010 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

1. Party work, organization, propaganda, and unions

- Organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and celebrate the Spring of Canh Dan 2010.

- Party Committee meeting approved the draft report to be submitted to the 26th School Party Congress.

- Implement the work of building the school development strategy and 5-year development plan 2011-2015.

- Completed the first round of awards in 2010.

2. Training, student affairs, quality control and inspection

- Work with units on:

• Implementation status of training program course 2006
• Training organization by major
• Internship organization
• Use the course outline of the subjects taught in semester II
• Solutions to ensure learning materials are recorded in the course syllabus
• Progress of compiling course study guide
• Evaluation of textbook and reference material compilation
• Applying positive elements of credit-based training to the vocational training system
• Current status and prospects of short-term training implementation.

- Checking the management of classes and subjects at the beginning of the second semester; implementing the supplementary semester of the 2009-2010 school year; organizing the supplementary exam of the first semester; reviewing academic performance and transferring high-quality students of the second semester.

- Complete the training program implementation instructions for the regular system; guide units to build training processes and calculate tuition coefficients according to the adjusted training program.

- Continue to update the Three Public reports according to VNU's instructions and complete the reconciliation of regular university teaching hours payments with other units.

- Acceptance of adjusted and supplemented course outlines after adjusting the training program.

- Review the training results of students in semester I.

- Organize the grading and graduation of the VLVH class of Archives and Office Administration, course QH-2005-X in KonTum; prepare for the first enrollment of the VLVH class and the bridging class of course QH-2010-X; deploy and complete the distance education project for the Management Science major.

- Implement the first round of postgraduate enrollment plan in 2010 of VNU; organize final exams in specialized foreign languages ​​for postgraduate students of course QH-2009-X; consider granting master's degrees in the first round of 2010.

- Process lecture evaluation forms of lecturers from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, Faculty of Linguistics, Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Administration, Department of Political Science; build questionnaires for lecturers, students, employers, alumni, continue to evaluate the training program of Tourism Studies; develop a plan to evaluate the training program of History.

- Check the learning of classes and training systems inside and outside the school after Tet; hold inspection meetings.

3. Scientific research and international cooperation

- Continue to check the progress of special and key topics at the National University level in 2009.

- Continue to prepare to organize the Workshops: "Consequences of psychological trauma in victims of chemical poisoning during the Vietnam War", "Creating socio-economic activities to serve sustainable local development in Son La", "Promoting Korean studies in Vietnam".

- Complete documents and DVD introducing the school.

4. Administrative, management and financial work

- Report on the 2009 final settlement; plan for budget use in 2010; prepare budget estimates for the training program "16+23".

- Payment for excess teaching hours in semester I, school year 2009-2010.

- Check the financial settlement of independent accounting centers of the school.

- Develop and implement a protection plan during the Lunar New Year.
