Opening ceremony of Journalism major, Culture and Arts program, course QH-2009-X

On January 9, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the opening ceremony of the part-time Journalism program, course QH-2009-X. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal attended the opening ceremony.

This year, the Journalism Department of the VHL system has 113 successful candidates. At the opening ceremony, new students were introduced to the school, the curriculum as well as the study plan for the year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim introduced the position and orientation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as a leading training and research center in social sciences and humanities in the country. In particular, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication with 20 years of training experience has contributed to providing high-quality human resources working in the journalism and communication industry of the country. In response to the requirements of Vietnamese journalism, over the years, the training program of the faculty has been innovated in the direction of updating new subjects, enhancing vocational learning methods, and improving modern facilities and equipment so that students can practice more during their studies. The Associate Professor, Vice President also expressed his hope that the knowledge acquired at the university will help students become more mature and steadfast in both their political will and professional skills.
