Training on Policy Analysis and Planning

From March 30, 2009 to April 1, 2009, the Center for Policy Research and Analysis (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) in collaboration with the Provincial Party Committee, the State Council and the People's Committee of Hai Duong Province organized a training course on Policy Analysis and Planning Skills for Hai Duong's policy makers.

Trainees attended the training course for delegates of the People's Council, People's Committee, officials of Departments, Boards, Branches, leaders of alliances, associations, enterprises, cooperatives, etc. of Hai Duong Province. This is also the first course on policy science for policy makers of Hai Duong Province.

The main contents covered in the course include: Introduction to Policy Science, Policy analysis and planning skills, Relationship between Central Government and Local Government, Policy culture and management... Students have had access to theoretical knowledge, exchanged practical experiences and discussed with experts in the field of policy research in Vietnam, from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Institute for Research and Analysis of Policy and Strategy of Science and Technology.

At the end of the training course, students will be awarded international certificates issued by the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Rosa Luxemburg Institute, Federal Republic of Germany.
