I. INDICATORS

1.1. Lecturer- Number of vacancies: 18 lecturers. - General requirements for lecturer positions: Applicants for lecturer recruitment must meet all the conditions specified in the following documents:
  • Law on Civil Servants dated November 15, 2010.
  • Decree No. 29/2012/ND-CP dated April 12, 2012 on recruitment, use and management of civil servants.
  • Regulations on recruitment, training and fostering of lecturers at VNU issued under Decision No. 1955/QD-TCCB dated November 16, 2006 of the Director of VNU.
  • Official dispatch No. 1563/TCCB dated April 28, 2008 of VNU guiding the addition of some points in Decision No. 1955/QD-TCCB dated November 16, 2006 of the Director of VNU.
  • Instruction No. 1815/HD-VNU dated June 18, 2012 of VNU on recruitment of civil servants in VNU.
* Some specific standards:- About education level:
  • Have a doctorate in relevant field.
  • Those who do not have a doctorate degree must meet one of the following conditions: + Have a master's degree (and graduate from a regular university with honors at a public university), currently studying for a doctoral degree in a relevant field. + Have a master's degree in a field relevant to the recruitment position (and graduate from a regular university with honors at a public university).
Note:
  • Candidates with PhD degree, age not over 50;
  • Candidates with master's degree, age not over 33.
- Foreign language: Equivalent to level C. - Information technology: Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and information technology applications to prepare lectures and teach. - Priority is given to those with seniority and experience in the specialized field to be recruited. - Good health, pedagogical methods, no lisp, no stuttering, no physical disabilities. - The positions to be recruited are as follows:

2. RECRUITMENT FORM: Exam

2.1. Common exam subjects for all 3 categories: * General knowledge exam:
  • Exam time: 120 minutes.
  • Exam format: Written exam.
  • Exam content: Understanding of civil servant law; Party guidelines, policies, and State laws on the education system and higher education in Vietnam, on standards for ranks in the education system and the ranks to be held, on VNU, on the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, basic understanding of the industry or field of recruitment.
* Foreign Language:
  • Exam time: 120 minutes.
  • Exam format: Written exam.
Test in 1 of 5 languages: English, Russian, French, German, Chinese or other foreign languages ​​suitable for the job requirements (Exemption from foreign language and IT tests is implemented according to Article 8 of Decree No. 29/2012/ND-CP dated April 12, 2012 of the Government).
  • For Lecturer and Researcher positions: Level C.
  • For Specialist level: Level B.
2.2. Separate exam subjects for each category * Professional subjects:
  • For Lecturer position: + Exam content: Teaching a part of the specialized content will be undertaken, handling situations during the teaching process, knowledge related to the specialized subject will be undertaken. + Exam format: Question and answer.
  • For Researcher and Specialist positions: + Exam content: Knowledge, professional skills, how to handle situations in solving work related to the position to be held. + Exam format: Question and answer.
* Computer Science:
  • For Lecturer level: + Exam content: Applying skills in using Word and PowerPoint programs to prepare and design lectures. + Exam format: This content will be assessed when candidates present their professional exam.
  • For Researcher and Specialist positions: + Exam content: Knowledge and skills in document management, general document editing, document editing skills related to the field you will be undertaking, application of information technology in management and processing of work you will be undertaking. + Exam format: Practical exam on computer.

3. PROFILE

* Profile includes:
  1. Handwritten application form for recruitment of contract civil servants in 2012 (Download here).
  2. CV certified by competent authority (valid for 6 months from the date of application submission).
  3. Copy of Birth Certificate.
  4. Health certificate from a competent health authority (valid for 6 months from the date of application submission).
  5. Certificate of priority (if any).
  6. Diplomas, transcripts of the entire course, certificates of expertise, profession, information technology, foreign languages ​​(those who study abroad must have confirmation and evaluation from the Vietnamese Embassy during their study period in that country, the issued diplomas and certificates must be translated into Vietnamese and notarized).
  7. Photocopies of scientific research papers.
  8. 02 photos 4 x 6 cm (photos taken within 6 months from the date of application submission).
