On October 5, 2012, Hanoi Social Insurance issued Official Dispatch 3001/BHXH-NVGĐ1 regarding notification of medical facilities accepting initial medical examination and treatment registration for subjects whose cards were issued by Hanoi Social Insurance in 2013.According to this Official Dispatch, Hanoi City Social Insurance temporarily announces the list of facilities accepting initial medical examination and treatment registration in 2013 for subjects with health insurance cards issued by Hanoi City Social Insurance as follows.
1. Principles of initial health care registration
- Health insurance participants residing or working in districts, towns can choose to register for initial medical examination and treatment at commune-level, district-level or equivalent medical examination and treatment facilities and hospitals in the district, town or bordering districts, towns, suitable for the distance between the place of residence and the medical examination and treatment facility for the convenience of the cardholder. - Health insurance participants with a medical examination book issued by the Friendship Hospital, the City Cadre Health Care Protection Board, people with revolutionary contributions, people aged 85 and over, children under 6 years old who need to register for initial medical examination and treatment at provincial-level medical examination and treatment facilities or equivalent or higher suitable for the place of residence or work for the convenience of medical examination and treatment under health insurance. - For hospitals with which the Health Insurance Assessment & Multi-level Payment Center has signed contracts and for temporary voluntary health insurance participants, follow the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 1949/BHXH-NVGĐ1 dated June 18, 2012 of Hanoi Social Insurance. - For students registering for initial health care, follow the instructions in Official Dispatch No. 2457/BHXH-NVGĐ1 dated August 13, 2012 of Hanoi Social Insurance on the announcement of the list of health care facilities accepting initial health care registration for students in the 2012-2013 school year.
2. List of facilities accepting initial health care registration
- List of medical facilities accepting initial medical examination and treatment registration for all subjects (Appendix 1). Note that medical facilities are not capable of receiving medical examination and treatment for children under 6 years old or are only capable of receiving medical examination and treatment for subjects over 15 years old. - List of hospitals at the city level and above (Appendix 2): accepting initial medical examination and treatment registration for subjects participating in health insurance with medical examination books issued by Friendship Hospital, City Cadre Health Management Department, meritorious people, people aged 85 and over, children under 6 years old, National Assembly Deputies, People's Council Deputies, retirees, social security. - List of health clinics for officials under the management of Hanoi City (Appendix 3): Accept initial health examination registration for eligible health insurance participants according to Instruction No. 52/HD/BTCTW dated December 2, 2005 of the Central Organizing Committee and Instruction No. 161-HD/BTCTU dated December 7, 2007 of the Hanoi Party Committee Organizing Committee. Subjects must have a medical examination book issued by the Hanoi City Department of Health Management for Officials, and register at the health clinics for officials according to their locality. - List of medical facilities for agencies and schools (Appendix 4): Accept initial health examination registration for subjects under their management.
