Principal Pham Quang Minh received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Vietnam

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh briefly introduced the history of training and research of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as a leading address for training in Social Sciences and Humanities in Vietnam. The University is implementing an internationalization strategy, expanding friendly relations with foreign partners. Therefore, the University wishes to cooperate with universities, research and training institutions in Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Anar Lachin O Imanov said that the educational cooperation between Vietnam and Azerbaijan has a long history. Therefore, he wishes to welcome officials and lecturers from Vietnam to visit and work at universities in Azerbaijan. He is also willing to send teachers from Azerbaijani universities to Vietnam to teach about the country, culture and language of Azerbaijan, towards establishing a major on Azerbaijan in Vietnam. Finally, Ambassador Anar Lachin O Imanov proposed to organize an Azerbaijani cultural day at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in early March 2018.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh welcomed the ideas of Ambassador Anar Lachin O Imanov and suggested that the two sides keep in regular contact and exchange more specific ideas in the future. The Department of Cooperation and Development will be the contact point of the University.

Previously, on October 19, 2015, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Vietnam - Mr. Anar Imanov had a meeting and exchange at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to introduce Azerbaijan to the staff and students of the University.
