Cooperation on online university teaching with Seoul National University

On March 27, 2012, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Principal) and leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Training Cooperation, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Information - Library, and Department of Postgraduate Training had a meeting and worked with the Seoul National University delegation led by Professor Hyun Chin Lin (Director of the Institute of Asian Studies, Seoul National University).At the meeting, the leaders of the two sides exchanged and discussed training and research cooperation between the two sides in the coming time. In particular, the two sides were interested in exchanging about the coordination to establish online training programs on subjects related to culture and society. It is expected that in the coming time, the two sides will have more specific exchanges and plans before signing an official cooperation document. Seoul National University has cooperated to implement online training programs with a number of universities: Tokyo University (Japan), Tsinghua University, Beijing University (China)... Seoul National University hopes to soon build a joint online training program in 1-2 subjects with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The leaders of the two schools expressed their confidence in the potential for cooperation between the two sides in the future and hope that the program can begin implementation in 2013.
