Farewell Summer 2011 - Goodbye K52

So another music night "Farewell to Summer" took place and left many memories for the graduating students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.“The memories will forever be in our hearts, those happy days we were together. We wish to meet again one day…. Goodbye, and tomorrow we will meet again…” Those lyrics by Pham Thi Phuong Thao (K53BCTT) ended another emotional night of “Farewell to Summer” at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural House, on the evening of June 24, 2011. “Farewell to Summer” is an annual art program organized by the Youth Union – Student Association of the school, as a gift for the final year students, before graduating. And the generation that received the “gift” this time were the students of the K52 class (QH-2007-X). Attending the program were Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Principal of the school) and Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of Student Affairs and Policy Department) and representatives of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union – Student Association of the school. Also at the program, the Student Association - Youth Union also commended and rewarded students with excellent academic achievements and Youth Union activities during the entire 2007-2011 school year.



The performances of “Farewell to Summer 2011” attracted the audience not only thanks to the very emotional voices of the SOL Club members but also because of their extremely engaging performances. The songs were skillfully strung together to create a seamless story with scenes recreating the student life from the time they first started going to school until they graduated today.
