Asia Pacific Responsibility to Protect Workshop to be held

On June 17, 2011, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the University - had a meeting and worked with Dr. Noel M. Mordar - Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Center for the Responsibility to Protect, School of International Studies and Political Science, University of Queensland, Australia.At the meeting, the two leaders discussed the organization of a workshop on the Responsibility to Protect in the Asia Pacific, scheduled to take place in 2012 in Vietnam, with the participation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU and the Diplomatic Academy. The Center for the Responsibility to Protect in the Asia Pacific is currently conducting a research program on Vietnam's responsibility to protect in the Asia Pacific. In March 2011, the Center organized a workshop in New York, USA to share the initial recommendations of the Security Cooperation Council in the Track II Study Group of the Asia Pacific.
