Vietnam Social Work Network (VNSW) was officially launched on July 31, 2007 - at the time when the Social Work major began to be trained in a number of universities in Vietnam. The birth of the Network originated from the personal idea of Master Tran Van Kham, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities.Access address:
vnsocialwork.netThe Network was launched with the main goal of creating a forum to share information about social work (theory - practice - training facilities), as well as to act as a bridge between learners and those who teach and practice social work. VNSW was built with the main information contents: news about social work activities, basic issues - foundations and specialties of social work, necessary resources for social work... Currently, there are 200 articles on the above contents. In addition, the Network also provides other useful utilities such as conducting online surveys, a system of ebooks for social work and social sciences, a directory of training and practice facilities for social work... These contents are being continuously updated and improved. After nearly 4 years, the Network has attracted special attention from students, those who teach and practice social work nationwide. In the direction of network development, the Board of Directors will continue to improve the content of news, basic information systems and references for social work subjects, build a list of scientific terms necessary for social work... Currently, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities is training Social Work at both bachelor's and master's levels. This year, the enrollment target for university Social Work is 70.
