Humanities Students "Light Up Your Mind"
On March 26, 2011, in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Union and in response to the Youth Year 2011, the program "Light up your mind" was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi with the participation of many students and guests. With the rules and attractive competitions like Golden Bell, 100 contestants participating in the program are all students from faculties and departments in the school.

In this contest, players will have to conquer up to 20 questions and situations with main topics about Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, knowledge about the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, about the fields of culture, history, society, natural sciences...

Nguyen Thu Thao (student of the Faculty of Literature) said: "It's really interesting and very attractive. Although I have watched the Golden Bell program many times on TV, this is the first time I have watched an equally exciting program live right in the school yard."

Winning after overcoming 15 questions and 60 players, Nguyen Thi Que Huong shared: I was really surprised because I didn't think I could win. "Light your mind" creates opportunities for humanities students to exchange, learn and gain more useful knowledge, especially knowledge about the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Regarding the organization of the program, Tran Dieu Anh, Head of SIFE USSH - the student team that came up with the idea and organized it, shared: "The exciting and attractive cultural and artistic movements that help humanities students demonstrate their many talents are organized regularly, but there are not many activities and movements for students to demonstrate their intelligence. Therefore, the program called "Light up your mid" has created attraction and curiosity for students and audiences." Talking about the idea of organizing the "Light your mind" contest, MSc. Pham Huy Cuong (Deputy Secretary of the School's Youth Union) said: "The program is one of the practical activities of the youth and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Union and respond to the Youth Year 2011. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for humanities students to confidently and freely demonstrate their intelligence, talent, and understanding of comprehensive and diverse knowledge in both the scientific field as well as in daily life."
