Student discussion with tourism businesses

On March 31, 2011, the Faculty of Tourism organized a seminar with the theme: "Students and tourism businesses". Participating in the seminar were lecturers, students of the Faculty of Tourism and representatives of the Hotel Department - General Department of Tourism, some hotels and tourism companies in Hanoi such as: Ariva Nam Ngu Hotel, Media Hanoi Hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel...At the seminar, representatives of businesses discussed and helped students answer questions about issues related to the tourism and hotel industry such as: the difference between resorts and hotels, the competitive factors in jobs in tourism businesses, regulations in the law on the use of cards when working... And especially emphasized the importance of factors: foreign languages, confidence, communication skills, passion for the profession, desire to learn... The seminar helped tourism businesses access potential human resources, at the same time creating opportunities for students to learn the necessary knowledge and skills, and have specific directions for the future.
