On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), there were the participation of Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the school; Dr. Pham Hoang Hung - Head of the Department of Cooperation and Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature, Director of the Center for Chinese Studies; Dr. Le Van Cuong - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature; Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa - Head of the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies.
On the guest side, there were Mr. Ma Tien Phi - Director of the Center for Language Exchange Cooperation between China and Foreign Countries, Mr. Trinh Dai Vi - Education Counselor of the Chinese Embassy, Mr. Vuong Dinh Quan - First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Dang Lien Suy - Head of General Administration Department, Mr. Vuong Dung - Head of Planning and Development Department, Mr. Ho Tu Vien - Head of Scholarship and Examination Department, Mr. Ly Boi Trach - specialist of the Center.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities said that cooperation with international universities is a strong trend of the school to contribute to the goal of becoming an advanced research university in the region and the world. In particular, Chinese universities and research institutes are important partners of the school in training and scientific research.
In recent times, the university has established cooperative relationships with 60 universities and research institutes in China. In 2019, out of more than 900 international students studying in Vietnam, there were about 600 Chinese students. This September, many students from major Chinese universities will come to study at VNU-USSH. In the field of scientific research, Chinese partners are having many cooperative activities with the university.
Chinese students and trainees studying at VNU-USSH in many different fields in programs from bachelor to master, doctorate, short-term training programs and are provided with the best conditions for studying, medical care, and cultural exchange with Vietnamese students.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Trinh Dai Vi - Education Counselor and Mr. Vuong Dinh Quan - First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam. Mr. Ma Jianfei - Director of the Center for Language Exchange and Cooperation between China and Foreign Countries (CLEC, organizer of the HSK and HSKK Chinese Proficiency Tests) - shared the honor when the delegation visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU - a university with a long history and the leading university in Vietnam in research in the field of social sciences and humanities.
At the meeting, the two units discussed and had many similar views on training cooperation possibilities, such as short-term training courses, cooperation in organizing the HSK international Chinese language certificate exam, 2+2 bachelor training program, student and lecturer exchange, implementing China-Vietnam education exhibition activities in the two countries, building a cooperation mechanism on scientific research...
On the same day, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted a reception and worked with 49 Chinese universities during the delegation's visit to Vietnam, opening up opportunities for cooperation in training and research between VNU-USSH and the prestigious university community of China.
