Psychological Skills Training Seminar

The seminar was jointly organized by the Center for Training Technology and Employment System - VNU, the Resource Center - French School of General Psychology and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on July 22 and 23, 2008.

This activity is part of the cooperation plan to organize short-term training in practical skills between the three parties, which has been implemented since 2006.

There were more than 30 students who are doctors at hospitals, counselors working at counseling centers, social workers, young psychologists... participating in the training course. The course provides students - who have to regularly contact, counsel and treat individuals with psychological difficulties or groups of individuals with difficulties in society - with practical psychological skills and experience. The instructors are doctors and experts in practical psychology from Paris Hospital, Resource Center, Paris X University.

The main contents of the training course include: manifestations of schizophrenia; practice of treatment techniques: body manifestations, relaxation exercises, principles in psychotherapy practice...
