After more than half a month of launching, with the efforts of more than 600 students of VNU and 250 youth union officials of Thach That district, the volunteer campaign has achieved many good results. The work of educating political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle for union members, youth, and students has been focused on and promoted with many political activities, cultural exchanges, and the 61st anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day with practical and meaningful activities. Movements to disseminate production knowledge, take care of people's health, open classes, and promote culture... have also taken place very enthusiastically and widely.
The campaign organized a training course on Ho Chi Minh Thought, trained professional skills for more than 200 Youth Union officials; successfully coordinated the playground "The power of a thousand years of water" and many gratitude activities throughout the district.
During the summer volunteer campaign in Ha Tay, more than 150 students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 5 teams from the faculties of Philosophy, International Studies, Archival Studies and International Relations, Management Science, and Linguistics worked actively, enthusiastically, and effectively, and received Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Thach That District. In particular, the volunteer team model of the Faculty of Philosophy achieved results and was highly appreciated with many meaningful activities: broadcasting 19/20 sessions, opening 8 classes with 500 students, coordinating with 11 youth unions to participate in cleaning village roads, organizing 6 cultural programs, visiting and giving 10 gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, etc.
Today, August 5, the volunteer activities outside Hanoi have also ended with the return of the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Tourism Studies from Hoa Binh. Meanwhile, volunteer groups in the capital (Faculty of Literature and Faculty of Oriental Studies) continue their campaigns.
As planned, the conference to summarize the entire campaign will be held next September.
