Explode with "VNU's Hot Steps 2023" of Hanoi National University Youth

As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Government's Decree on Vietnam National University, Hanoi (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2023) and to welcome the success of the Congress of Student Associations at all levels towards the Vietnam Student Association, the Youth Union - Student Association of Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized the dance competition "VNU's Hot Steps 2023" with the theme "Techno". This is a healthy and useful playground for union members, youth, students and pupils throughout Vietnam National University, Hanoi to have the opportunity to exchange, learn, connect and promote the talents of Vietnam National University, Hanoi students.
After more than 2 months of implementation, the competition has attracted more than 35 teams with more than 600 students from units under VNU to register to participate. After the preliminary and final rounds of the competition, the 12 best teams entered the final round to compete on December 10, 2023 at the VNU Urban Area in Hoa Lac.
Speaking at the opening of the final round, comrade Tuong Van Thuan - Chairman of the VNU Student Association emphasized: "VNU's Hot Steps 2023 is not only a playground for VNU members and students, but above all, we want to spread the youth and creativity of members and students through each dance step to convey the message about using technology and behaving in a safe and optimal digital environment for students". In the final round, the teams drew props (such as antennas, smartphones, robots, etc.) and then performed with the drawn props in a variety of forms, cleverly conveying messages about digital capacity, digital environment, etc., closely following the theme of the competition. The teams were creative and flexible to express the common theme as well as the drawn props, thereby integrating many messages for the younger generation about exploiting smart, effective and safe technology. The judges of the competition highly appreciated the creativity and uniformity of the participating students, including some teams with high technical skills.   With an impressive performance, the “PEACE Crew” team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won the first prize. Sharing about the journey to the championship title, student Phan Minh Anh - the team representative expressed: “Our emotions were overwhelmed because after months of practice, we have reaped sweet results. Through this, the team also wants to convey the message that technology and games are endless sources of inspiration for creativity and discovery.” The Organizing Committee also awarded 02 Second Prizes to the team “Step Up Dancing Club” (University of Foreign Languages) and the team “UAC” (University of Education); 03 Third Prizes to the teams “Istep” (International School), “VOL” (University of Economics), “Huden Crew” (University of Natural Sciences) along with 06 Encouragement Prizes and 01 Most Favorite Prize to the teams.
