The 2024 volunteer tourism campaign aims to inherit the traditional values of mutual love and support of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general and students of the Faculty of Tourism in particular. Not only that, it also contributes to improving the effectiveness of the Youth Union and Student Association; exchanging experiences in Union work and student movements with local youth.
In addition to organizing traditional volunteer activities to ensure social security, for community life, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of ethnic people and children in the locality, the Youth Union - Association of the Faculty of Tourism also organizes volunteer activities related to tourism expertise, contributing to creating a meaningful program, with humanistic values, imbued with the identity of the Faculty of Tourism students.

Phase 1: From March 10, 2024 to April 12, 2024: Charity fundraising, recruiting collaborators, conducting preliminary surveys and professional training, and assigning implementation.

Phase 2: From April 13, 2024 to April 15, 2024: includes activities:
1. Build youth projects "Wishing Tree" and "Colors of Ha Giang" to paint and decorate the space of the cultural house of Cao Banh village.
2. Survey homestay, experience farming with locals (visit and learn about tea growing process; land preparation; cleaning; tea planting; participate in tea leaf harvesting....).
3. Organize cultural and artistic exchange activities with local people.
4. Organize gift giving for families in difficult circumstances.

Phase 3: From April 16, 2024 to April 30, 2024: Create review products in the form of videos, articles and post them on social media channels to promote the beauty and culture, and experience agricultural tourism in Cao Banh village, Ha Giang.
The program has the participation of lecturers, staff and students in the Faculty. In addition, there are collaborators inside and outside the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Expected number: 20 volunteers and 30 collaborators.
