The Trade Union of Cluster 5 School successfully organized the 2023 Annual Conference with the theme "35 years of G5 - Connecting and Spreading"

Attending the conference were representatives of the leaders of 5 units including: Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University of Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Son - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University of Natural Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Quyet Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the University of Natural Sciences; Prof. Dr. Le Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Council of the University of Natural Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University of Civil Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung, Vice Rector of the University of Natural Sciences; Prof. Dr. Hoang Van Cuong, Vice Rector of the University of National Economics.
Representatives of the Trade Union of 5 units include: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lien - President of the Trade Union of the University of Natural Sciences; Dr. Bui Duc Hung - President of the Trade Union of the University of Science; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Ngoc Khoa - President of the Trade Union of the University of Civil Engineering; Dr. Nguyen Huu Dong - President of the Trade Union of the University of Economics; Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - President of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and more than 40 delegates representing the Executive Board of the Trade Union of the units in the Cluster.
The conference received 05 presentations with 05 topics on the outstanding activities of the Cluster over the past 35 years, including: presentation "35 years of G5 - Connecting and Spreading" presented by MSc. Pham Dinh Hieu - Vice President of the Trade Union of the University of Natural Sciences; presentation "Trade Union with professional activities at Hanoi University of Science and Technology" presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Vice President of the Trade Union of the University of Science and Technology; presentation "G5 with volunteer work" presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Thu Huyen - Vice President of the Trade Union of the University of Economics and Business; presentation "G5 with cultural, artistic and sports activities" presented by MSc. Nguyen Thi Le Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the University of Civil Engineering; and presentation "G5 Trade Union Office where the activities of the Cluster of 5 Universities are connected and spread" presented by MSc. Vu Thi Thu Hang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The presentations have recreated the formation and development process of the Cluster over the past 35 years since 1988. From multi-dimensional perspectives, the presentations have pointed out the achievements that the Cluster's trade union has achieved in such aspects as: Political and ideological work; professional work; work to protect the legitimate rights and interests of cadres, civil servants and workers; women's work; work to participate in building organizations, participating in management work; social charity work, serving the community; cultural and sports activities. The activities of the Cluster over the past 35 years have become a fine tradition of solidarity, creating a foundation for the combination of the past and the present to spread good values ​​in the future.
The conference also listened to the opinions of the leaders of the units in the cluster, acknowledging and appreciating the theme and content of the conference as well as the role of the trade union in the activities of the schools. The trade union has been proactive in developing plans, consulting, coordinating with the school leaders, maximizing the role of the trade union in most areas, contributing significantly to the building of increasingly sustainable school development. At the Conference, the Trade Unions of the units in the Cluster congratulated Hanoi University of Science and Technology on its transformation into Hanoi University of Science and Technology and congratulated the Trade Union of the National Economics University on successfully organizing the 34th Congress, term 2023 - 2028.
The University of Natural Sciences hands over the right to host the Cluster's trade union activities in the 2023-2024 school year to the Hanoi University of Natural Sciences Trade Union.
