To reach the Final, the players had to overcome many strong players, outstanding athletes from the departmental unions with very tense confrontations, many sets with scores tied at 11-11. With their enduring physical strength, competitive spirit, and enthusiasm, the players brought the audience eye-catching matches.
Athlete Dinh Tien Hieu shared after the Final: “This year's tournament, the technical level of the players was very even, so many matches had to go all 5 sets, chasing very closely and fighting for each point. Our pair won the Championship because we were lucky and kept our stamina, playing a little better together. But the biggest victory of this tournament is that all the participating players and the audience had an extremely useful playground, meaningful moments of exchange, increasing the bond and solidarity among union members. Having a successful tournament, first of all, is due to the attention and facilitation of the Board of Directors, the Union Executive Committee, the Board of Directors of faculties, departments, rooms, and centers in the school. Besides, we must mention the professionalism and thoughtfulness in the organization, the dedicated competition of the players, and the enthusiastic cheering of the fans. Such useful activities and playgrounds need to be expanded and organized more to attract more students. The participation of many union members not only contributes to improving health but also improves the spiritual life of cadres.

The harmonious and rhythmic coordination, along with unexpected finishing shots, is probably the "secret" that helped the pair Trinh Van Dinh - Pham Huy Cuong win the Semi-finals and advance to the Finals.
The men's singles semi-final match between Dinh Tien Hieu and Trinh Van Dinh made the audience extremely nervous when they had to compete until the 5th set and the score was 10-10, 11-11.
The activities of the Union in general, as well as this year's Table Tennis tournament in particular, always receive the attention, support and encouragement of the Board of Directors and Principal Hoang Anh Tuan personally.
