In order to improve students' understanding of the National Assembly and raise the awareness of the young generation to participate in political activities, the National Assembly Office in collaboration with the British Embassy and the British Council Vietnam implemented the Project.“Young Vietnamese National Assembly”. Students selected to participate in the Project will be trained, provided with knowledge about the organization and operation of the National Assembly, practical skills on the processes and procedures of operation at the National Assembly, and participate in the Plenary Session of the Young National Assembly. Through the training process, 01 excellent student will be selected to join the Delegation to visit and learn from the experience at the British Parliament.

The School Youth Union Executive Committee will select 10 students to participate in the project based on the following:
1. Student selection criteria:
- Have good moral qualities, good academic performance or higher.
- Actively participate in group activities; have the ability to organize group activities.
- Ability to search, select, synthesize information and the ability to present and debate in front of a crowd.
- Have a certain interest and understanding of the organization and operation of the National Assembly.
- Good English proficiency (ability to communicate confidently, proficient in political issues)
- Have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Project "Young Vietnamese National Assembly" (Summary information attached)
2. Selection progress and process:
- From September 9 - 16, 2015: Receiving registration documents
- From September 17 to 18, 2015: Reviewing applications and selecting qualified students
- September 21, 2015: Announcement of results
3. Registration form(no more than 800 words) including the following main information:
- Introduce yourself (information about your full name, date of birth, class, faculty, foreign language proficiency, strengths and other special abilities, etc.)
- Personal plans and intentions when participating in "Young Vietnamese National Assembly" and commitment to participate in communication programs to spread to other students if selected
- Photocopies of awards, foreign language certificates, certificates of participation in activities, illustrative images (if any).
This is a meaningful activity, expressing the image and voice of students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on the country's political issues. The Standing Committee of the University Youth Union informs all students who wish and are able to participate in the Project to submit their application to the University Youth Union Office.before 10:00 on September 16, 2015 (Wednesday).
