Closing ceremony of Korean language course for Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh employees

Attending the closing ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Viet Nghia (Head of Cooperation and Development Department), Dr. Luu Tuan Anh (Head of Oriental Studies Department).

On the side of Samsung Electronics Vietnam, there were Mr. Park Sung Geum (Deputy General Director in charge of Human Resources of Samsung Electronics Vietnam), Mr. Lai Hoang Dung (Head of the Company's Training Department) and 19 excellent employees who successfully completed the Korean language course at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

This is the 9th course marking the training cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Samsung Electronics Vietnam. The course lasted for 13 weeks with the participation of 19 students who are excellent employees of Samsung Electronics Vietnam in Bac Ninh.

The course runs from March 1 to June 1 with approximately 720 hours of study. The students' study time is from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with an average of 10 hours of continuous study per day. Every day, the teaching staff conducts regular 10-minute tests at the beginning of each class. In addition, the course has 3 general tests in the 4th, 8th and 12th weeks. The results are all reported to the company by the school.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) congratulated the excellent employees of Samsung for successfully completing the course at the university. The professor hoped that with the knowledge of Korean language and culture provided in the course, the students would make remarkable progress and have better career opportunities in the future. From his own experiences, the Rector also expressed his belief in the good relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Samsung in particular, and the relationship between Vietnam and Korea in general.

On the side of Samsung Electronics Vietnam - Mr. Park Sung Geum expressed his joy that he can now communicate with his employees in Korean easily. The Korean performances presented at the graduation ceremony brought him special emotions. Mr. Park hopes that when they return to work at the company, the 19 excellent employees today will become the core force, taking on important roles at Samsung Electronics Vietnam as well as being a bridge to the parent company in Korea.
