Opening of a course on Vietnamese history and culture for students of Prince of Songkla University (Thailand)

Recently, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Principal of the University attended the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese Language, History and Culture course for students of Prince of Songkla University (Thailand). The course is expected to last for two months.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh thanked the lecturers and students of Prince of Songkla University for trusting and choosing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU as their training address in Vietnam.

This course attracted 20 first- and second-year students from Prince of Songkla University. Exchange activities between lecturers and students of universities between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi and universities in the ASEAN bloc have become a regular cooperative activity over the years.

“In the future, I hope that the two schools can expand student exchange programs in the fields of Tourism, Hotel Management…”, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh said at the opening ceremony.

Over the years, Prince of Songkla University has regularly sent groups of students to Vietnam to exchange and study. In addition to student exchange activities, the University also focuses on exchange activities in the fields of research, seminars, training and organizing summer courses.
