Dr. Anke Stahl provided a lot of information about the mechanism, policies and regulations of DAAD on funding scientific activities, granting scholarships, and exchanging lecturers and students. The representative of DAAD said that they will give maximum support to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in promoting cooperation programs with universities in Germany, as well as advising and giving advice to the University on related issues.
Leaders of both sides expressed special interest in developing plans and ways to effectively implement cooperation programs between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and German partners. The University currently has good cooperative relations with the Friedrich-Elbert Stiftung Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Foundation, the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, the Munich University of Applied Sciences, etc. With the support of the above partners, the University has successfully organized many major international conferences and implemented important research projects on education policy, policy making, religion, etc. in Vietnam.
Dr. Anke Stahl also suggested that the University should promote the development of short-term and long-term training programs, emphasizing multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary fields of social sciences and humanities, with attractive research topics, using English as the teaching language to attract German and international students to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
