From May 29 to June 1, 2011, students of K52 (QH-2007-X) from the faculties of Philosophy, History, Literature, Management Science, Information - Library, Sociology, Language, Tourism, Journalism and Communication... defended their graduation theses. This year, most faculties organized their graduation theses defenses 2 - 3 days earlier than last year.

On the evening of May 25, 2011, at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural House, the final round of the “Golden Microphone 2011” MC contest was held by the Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the morning of May 26, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a ceremony to award 121 scholarships to ethnic minority students in mountainous areas for the 2010-2011 school year. The program was implemented by the Center for Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Area Development Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities) in coordination with sponsoring agencies, organizations and businesses.

On May 25, 2011, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication and the Center for Journalism and Communication held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Faculty Executive Committee and the Center's Board of Directors for the 2011-2016 term.

On May 23, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Vice Principal of the School had a meeting and worked with Mr. Shin Hyun Myung - Principal of the Korean School Hanoi. At the meeting, the leaders of the two sides discussed establishing a cooperative relationship between the two schools and signed a cooperation agreement.

The "Creativity" round - the final round of the first Academic Counseling Competition took place last night, May 18.
