The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the enrollment plan for the international level Linguistics major, high-quality bachelor's majors (Management Science, History, Literature, Philosophy) and the French class specializing in Clinical Psychology for the QH-2010-X course from students who passed their first choice.
I. Admission to the international level Linguistics training program

Student rightsStudents are given high priority in training, specifically: - International standard programs; modern training processes and classrooms, opportunities to do internships abroad... taught by leading lecturers, foreign lecturers and guided scientific research. - Private use of specialized libraries and multimedia classrooms; priority in using learning materials, facilities, technical equipment, libraries and shared internet systems of the School - Scholarships to encourage learning (expected type A: 500,000 VND/month, type B1: 450,000 VND/month, type B: 400,000 VND/month, type C: 350,000 VND/month) and priority in considering scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals; higher funding support for scientific research than other systems. - In the 2010-2011 school year, students mainly studied English at the University of Foreign Languages (Pham Van Dong Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi City). The school arranged 50 places to stay at the University of Foreign Languages Dormitory for students in need. - Priority is given to selecting students to continue their postgraduate studies and creating a source of lecturers (valedictorians and salutatorians are given priority in recruiting as lecturers at the school, and scholarships are provided to study for master's or doctoral degrees abroad).
3. Selection objects and methods

Selection objectsStudents who were admitted to universities (inside and outside of VNU Hanoi) in 2010 (direct admission and entrance exam, regardless of major), met the requirements for foreign language proficiency test and satisfied one of the following conditions: a. Won third prize or higher in the national excellent student competition in Literature for grade 12 (2009, 2010) b. Was an excellent student for 3 consecutive years in high school (grade 10, 11, 12) c. Graduated from specialized high schools of universities or provinces and centrally-run cities d. University entrance exam score: 19 points or higher for group C and 18 points or higher for group D (excluding regional and subject priority points).

II. High-quality undergraduate enrollment
1. Target: 100, including: Literature - 25, History - 25, Philosophy - 20 and Management Science - 30.

Student rightsIn addition to the common rights and obligations of students in the regular training system, high-quality undergraduate students also enjoy the following benefits: - Being directly taught and guided in scientific research by leading scientists, professors, lecturers with qualifications, experience and prestige. - Being given priority in providing or using learning materials, facilities, technical equipment, libraries and internet systems to serve learning and scientific research. - Being given priority in considering scholarships to encourage learning (expected type A: 450,000 VND/month, type B: 400,000 VND/month, type C: 350,000 VND/month) and scholarships sponsored by organizations and individuals at home and abroad. - Being given priority in being selected to study abroad according to the State's quota or according to international cooperation programs in line with the high-quality undergraduate training goals of VNU and the University. - Upon graduation, priority will be given to transfer to graduate school and doctoral studies or be selected as a lecturer or researcher at Hanoi National University.

Selection objectsStudents who were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2010 (direct admission and entrance exam, regardless of major), met the requirements for foreign language proficiency test and satisfied one of the following conditions: a. Won third prize or higher in the national excellent student competition for grade 12 (2009, 2010) b. Was an excellent student for 3 consecutive years in high school (grade 10, 11, 12) c. Graduated from specialized high school of universities or provinces, centrally-run cities d. University entrance exam scores (for all exam groups, not including regional and subject priority points): Management Science (group C is from 21.5 points, group D is from 19 points), History (group C is from 21 points, group D is from 18.5 points), Literature (group C is from 21.5 points and group D is from 19.5 points), Philosophy (group A is 17 points, groups C and D are from 18 points).

III. Admission to French class specializing in Clinical Psychology
1. Target: 20
2. Student rights- The foreign language taught in the program is French. Students are given increased French language study (660 hours, 1.5 times the duration of the standard university program) and study some specialized subjects in French. - Enjoy learning benefits according to the policy of the Francophone University Organization. - Receive scholarships to encourage learning at the level of the high-quality system; have priority in using documents, learning tools and the internet system of the Francophone Postgraduate Training Program. - Graduates are the source of enrollment for joint postgraduate training programs between universities of the French Republic and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; are the source of selection for postgraduate study abroad with state scholarships or international cooperation programs of the school.
3. Selection objects and methods
3.1. Selection objectsStudents who were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2010 (direct admission or entrance exam, regardless of major), passed the foreign language proficiency test and had university entrance exam scores: Group C is from 19.50 points and Group D is from 19 points, are eligible to apply for admission.
3.2. Selection methodAdmission based on university entrance exam scores among students who meet foreign language proficiency requirements, with priority given to students who have studied French in high school.
IV. About foreign language proficiency test
14:00, September 11, 2010, test the foreign language proficiency of students registered to study these programs. The list of students taking the test is posted in the Information Room, 1st floor, Building G before the test time.
V. Application
- Receive and submit the application form at room 604, building E or download from the website: http://dt.ussh.edu.vn - Application fee and foreign language proficiency test: 50,000 VND/student - Final registration deadline is 16:00, September 10, 2010. Admission results will be announced at 16:00, September 13, 2010 in room 604, building E and on the website: http://dt.ussh.edu.vn. Admitted students will start studying in new classes from September 14, 2010. Students who have registered for admission, if admitted, cannot change their wishes; if not admitted, they will continue studying in the same major they have enrolled in.
