On June 7, 2019, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the program "Meeting and honoring groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in competitions at all levels in the 2018-2019 school year".

Attending the meeting and commendation ceremony, on behalf of VNU, there was Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem (Secretary of the University Youth Union); on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Principal of the University), Dr. Tran Bach Hieu (Secretary of the University Youth Union), and MSc. Nguyen Bich Dao (President of the University Student Association).

In order to encourage and motivate the learning and training movement of students, the Youth Union - Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has commended and rewarded groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in competitions inside and outside the school in the 2018-2019 school year.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh praised the contributions of the collectives and typical young faces to the development of the University. He considered you as the owners of the University. Therefore, the University is committed to always creating all conditions for you to strive and develop according to the University's slogan "Respect the past, hold the future". Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh also wished the students more success in the process of training and growing up. He hopes that you will always live and work with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as he has done for the past 40 years.

On behalf of the VNU Youth Union, Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem said that the current activities of the Union have been increasingly developing with a force of professional and enthusiastic staff. This year, the Union's activities are not only domestic, but also reaching out to the region with exchanges and cooperation between countries. This year is also the first year that VNU welcomes the Singaporean Union to support and participate in many summer activities in 2019.

With that spirit, Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem expressed his joy when seeing that students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have achieved many high achievements in competitions organized by VNU and the University. He hopes that teachers in the University will be proud of the students, as well as the students will be proud of being "Students of the University of Humanities".

At the meeting, the School awarded certificates of merit to 04 groups and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in competitions at all levels in the 2018-2019 school year.
