Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Party Committee Secretary, Vice Rector and members of the Board of Directors, leaders, Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Student Association, leaders of faculties, departments, training assistants, political assistants and student affairs of units. Especially, there were nearly 1,000 new graduates receiving their degrees.
Opening the program, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim delivered a speech summarizing the course: “4 years ago, 1,438 students of the QH-2011-X course entered the school. After 4 years of study, through 2 graduation examinations, 1,023 students have met the requirements for graduation. Today, the school's Principal will award graduation certificates to a total of 989 students. The number of excellent students is 1.63%; excellent: 26.5%; good: 71.2%; average: 0.65%. Compared to previous courses, this year's graduates continue to maintain high academic results. K56 students have had 722 scientific researches, accounting for 48.83%, 18 students won the first prize in school-level scientific research; 37 students won the second prize, 34 students won the third prize and 3 students won the ministerial-level science prize. In particular, 157 students of K56 were admitted to the Party ranks”. At the same time, he warmly commended the students: Vu Trung Hien - K56 Social Work, Mai Mai - K56 International Studies and Tran Thi Bich Huong - K56 History of CLC for their achievements in studying, researching and participating in the Union, Association and Faculty activities. At the end of his speech, he also said: “You should confidently integrate into society, modestly strive to become good scientists, researchers, and experts to make worthy contributions to your family, yourself and the school. You should always keep the deep memories of your years at school and continue to maintain the flame of tradition while constantly improving the position of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the education system of Vietnam, the region and the world”.

Next, Dr. Tran Ngoc Lieu read the Decision on Recognition of Graduation of the first and second batches of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, for the 2014-2015 academic year and recognition of regular university graduation and awarding of bachelor's degrees to students of the standard, high-quality and international training programs. Accordingly, the total number of students receiving bachelor's degrees was 989 students, the specific faculties with the following number of graduates: Faculty of Journalism: 94; Social Work: 64; Political Science: 48; Tourism Studies: 74; Oriental Studies: 74; Han Nom: 23; Standard Program Management Science: 57; CLC Management Science: 3; Library Information: 39; Faculty of Philosophy: 13; CLC system: 6; Standard Literature: 54; CLC Literature: 21; Faculty of Vietnamese Studies: 49; Social Work: 42; Tourism and Travel Management: 14, the rest are History Faculty, standard system and CLC system.
At the ceremony, Vu Thien Thuy Hien - K56 Literature CLC, on behalf of nearly 1000 new graduates, sent the most sincere thanks and gratitude to the teachers: "The Graduation Ceremony is a milestone marking the end of 4 years of university study and the maturity of each student. Wherever we go, we are always proud to have studied and researched under the roof of a professional and friendly school. We will constantly strive to repay the kindness of our parents and teachers and reach new heights."
Continuing the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu - Head of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs announced the commendation decisions of the Director of VNU and the University President. According to the decision, 9 students were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Director of VNU for their excellent graduation results throughout the course; 9 full-time students received Certificates of Merit from the President for their excellent academic results throughout the course after two graduation examinations in 2015; At the same time, the President also awarded certificates of merit to 21 students who are Youth Union and Association officials with achievements in their work; 17 students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well and 271 students who have achieved Excellent graduation results.
Immediately after that, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu continued to administer the awards according to the decisions made. Mai Mai, Head of the English Club of the Faculty of International Studies - a new graduate of the Faculty of International Studies shared: "The diploma is like a certification of the results of 4 years of studying and living at the school. Holding the diploma in my hand, my heart was filled with emotions, both happy and sad because from now on I am no longer a student of the school".
