Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev has 6 member schools and 14 affiliated faculties, with 2000 staff, including 600 professors, training in many fields of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Economics, Law, Technology. In particular, since 2012, the University has become the first and only training institution in Ukraine and surrounding countries to officially train Vietnamese (at the Faculty of Oriental Languages).
At this working session, the leaders of the two sides signed an official cooperation document with specific cooperation activities: student and lecturer exchange; coordination in organizing joint scientific seminars. In particular, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will support the development of the Vietnamese Language Department at Kiev National University.
Next, on October 24, the delegation had a working session at Tashkent University of Oriental Studies (Uzbekistan).

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh presented a souvenir from the School to Tashkent University of Oriental Studies (Uzbekistan).
Tashkent University of Oriental Studies has trained the second course of Vietnamese language. The school has a Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture established in 2013, the first and only center in the Central Asia region up to this point.
At the meeting, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities pledged to support the development of the Vietnamese Language Department at the Tashkent University of Oriental Studies by helping to train Vietnamese language lecturers and build a center for Vietnamese studies, thereby contributing to promoting the Vietnamese Language Department as well as promoting the image of Vietnam in the Central Asian region. The two sides will also coordinate in research and publish joint research results.
For a long time, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev and Tashkent University of Oriental Studies have welcomed thousands of Vietnamese students to study and research. This good relationship in the past will be an important foundation for the cooperative relationship between the USSH and the two universities in the future.
