2nd meeting of the School Self-Assessment Council 2015

On May 20, 2015, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal, Vice President of the 2015 School Self-Assessment Council) chaired a meeting of the School Self-Assessment Council to complete the School Self-Assessment Report. The meeting was attended by members of the Council and the Quality Assurance Center.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa said that the work of Self-assessing the quality of the School according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training is an opportunity for the School to self-assess the reality of its ongoing activities, thereby continuing to determine the orientations and adjust the short-term, medium-term and long-term goals and plans of the School accordingly, as well as promoting the strengths and specific resources of the School, and having specific measures to minimize and overcome existing weaknesses.

The meeting listened to the Secretariat's summary of the report development process and report structure. The Council also gave opinions on the following issues: 1) Description of activities based on the content requirements of each criterion 2) Persuasiveness of evidence in each criterion 3) Identification of strengths, shortcomings and causes 4) Quality improvement plan 5) Standards that need more investment according to the opinions of reviewers and advisors.

The meeting also drew some assessments and lessons learned to make the report more complete and up-to-date. According to the final assessment results, the report met 61/61 criteria set by VNU.
