Announcement of the decision to appoint the new term Board of Management of the Faculty of Management Science

Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Party Secretary, Vice Principal of the School, representatives of leaders of units, generations of leaders, teachers, students and trainees of the Faculty of Management Science.

On behalf of the School Board, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim presented the decisions of the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to appoint: Dr. Dao Thanh Truong to the position of Head of the Faculty of Management Science for the 2015-2020 term; MSc. Nguyen Nhu Ha and MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi to the position of Vice Heads of the Faculty of Management Science for the same term as the Head of the Faculty.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim acknowledged and praised the contributions of the previous term's Faculty Board, and emphasized the mission of the new Board of Directors is to continue training high-quality management human resources for the country to organize management, exploitation and use of the country's resources. After 13 years of establishment and development, the Faculty of Management Science has met the requirements of training management human resources in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration of the country.

On behalf of the new Executive Committee, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong expressed his thanks to the Party Committee and the School Board for their constant attention and trust; his deep gratitude to the previous Faculty Executive Committee and the enthusiastic support in scientific work of all staff in the Faculty. The new Dean reviewed the achievements of the Faculty over the past 10 years, and at the same time mentioned the key tasks of the Faculty of Management Science in the new term: the project to open bachelor's degreesPublic Policy;MasterHuman resource managementand prepare the conditions for program developmentPhD in Management Science;Develop short-term training programs such as:Brand building and development skills, Risk management skills, Human resource management skills in enterprises,...

The Faculty of Management Science of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was established under the Decision of the President of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2006, formerly the Department of Management Science established in 2002. Up to now, the Faculty has been training 13 bachelor courses in Management Science, both standard and high-quality systems with 1764 students, 20 postgraduate courses in Science and Technology Management with 390 masters. The Faculty is also honored to be the first unit in Vietnam to train PhDs in Science and Technology Management and is one of 5 units of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities assigned to train high-quality bachelors.

Not only that, the Faculty of Management Science also cooperates in research and training with many domestic and foreign units such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Intellectual Property, the Department of Copyright, the University of Toulouse - French Republic, the Royal University of Education - Thailand, ...
