The Return of the “USSH Champions League”

Attending the ceremony were MSc. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Head of Sports Department, Center for Physical Education and Sports of VNU); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector, Chairman of the School Sports Association, Head of the Tournament Steering Committee), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Khang (Chairman of the School Trade Union), Mr. Tran Bach Hieu (Secretary of the School Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Tournament Steering Committee), Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Lan (Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the School Student Association, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee); Mr. Tran Duc Hoa (Vice President of the School Student Association, Vice President of the School Sports Association, Deputy Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee). Also attending were representatives of the Party Committee - Board of Directors, Youth Union - Association of Faculties/Departments and the presence of representatives of 17 football teams from Faculties/Departments and the Principal's block.

The heat of the ceremony was focused on the results of the draw with many surprises. Participating in the tournament for the first time, the Headquarters Block was like a mystery that the Faculties of Oriental Studies, Philosophy, and Information - Library had to directly decode. Meanwhile, Group D - the only group with 5 teams, was considered the "death" group due to the high frequency of competition and the presence of a series of strong candidates such as the reigning champion of Political Science and fateful opponents from the Faculties of History, Management Science, Sociology, Archival Science, and Office Administration.

Another highlight of the Gala was the introduction and discussion of the competition rules. This year, the Organizing Committee focused on simplifying and adding some regulations suitable for the tournament, notably the regulations on player qualifications and on serving situations on the field - which have caused much controversy. The opinions discussed mainly revolved around the topics of competition shirts, complaint rules, the number of members of each team participating in the tournament, etc. However, in general, this year's competition rules have overcome the shortcomings that existed from previous seasons.

The tournament will start from March 22, 2015 to May 17, 2015 at C500 Stadium, People's Security Academy. Who will be the new champion? Will there be another surprise? Let's follow USSH CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2015 to find out the most deserving name.
