The exhibition displays 63 photographs of miniature painting and calligraphy in Iran. The art of painting in Iran, an ancient country, has been maintained and continued through many generations. One of the most important genres of Iranian painting is miniature painting. Iranian miniature is actually Iranian painting, which is largely a combination of mysticism and Islamic ideas, and also a way of expressing spiritual values. Iranian calligraphy also has a historical background in Iran and is mainly a transition from conventional writing to calligraphy in the Islamic world performed by Iranians. Iranian calligraphy is mainly used to write the Quran, religious texts, mystical poems of great poets or in the form of inscriptions on buildings.

In his speech, the Iranian Ambassador said that Iranian art reflects the message of friendship, kindness, morality and epistemology. The Ambassador hoped that programs such as this exhibition would contribute to enhancing understanding between the people and intellectuals of the two countries. The Iranian Embassy in Hanoi wishes to continue its cultural activities together with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. In particular, he hoped that the Center for Iranian Studies would soon be opened at the University and that Persian would soon be recognized as a school subject.

Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh agreed with the message of the Iranian Ambassador and expressed his joy to attend the exhibition. The Vice President said that this is a meaningful exhibition to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and Iran's National Day, and is also evidence of the relationship between Vietnam and Iran. This is also an opportunity for the University's staff and students to learn and interact with Iranian culture and art.
